Overview

TwitFlow is a client-side AI tweet drafting tool. We built it with a simple principle: your data stays on your device. This page explains exactly what we collect (almost nothing) and what we don't (everything else).

What we collect

  • Nothing you type. The topic you enter is sent directly from your browser to the AI API to generate drafts. We do not store, log, or read it.
  • No account required. TwitFlow has no sign-up, no login, and no user profile.
  • Drafts are local only. Saved drafts are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. They never leave your device and are not synced to any server.
  • Basic analytics (optional). We may use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics (e.g. Plausible) to understand aggregate usage. No personal data is collected.

Third-party services

  • AI language model API. Your topic text is transmitted to a third-party AI provider solely to generate tweet drafts. Only your input text is sent - no personal identifiers are included. The provider may process and retain request data per their own privacy policy.
  • Creem (payment processing). If you purchase the TwitFlow Pro upgrade, payment is processed by Creem. TwitFlow does not receive or store your card details. After a successful purchase, Creem emails you a License Key. TwitFlow only receives confirmation that a valid license key exists - no payment details are shared with us. See Creem's Privacy Policy..
  • Google AdSense (advertising). TwitFlow displays ads served by Google AdSense to free users. Google may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing activity. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings. See See Google's Privacy Policy..

Cookies & local storage

TwitFlow itself does not set cookies. However, Google AdSense (shown to free users) uses cookies and similar technologies for ad personalisation. You can manage or opt out via Google's Ad Settings.

TwitFlow stores the following data in your browser's localStorage:

  • Language preference
  • Streak data (daily posting streak counter)
  • License token - a cryptographically signed token confirming your TwitFlow Pro purchase. It contains only your license key and plan identifier; no personal data.

Google AdSense & advertising cookies

TwitFlow displays ads served by Google AdSense to free-tier users. TwitFlow Pro subscribers (one-time $4.99 upgrade) do not see AdSense ads. AdSense uses cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, and detect invalid click activity.

Cookies that Google AdSense may set include (but are not limited to):

  • _ga, _gid - Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish users and sessions.
  • IDE, id - DoubleClick / Google advertising cookies used to serve and measure personalised ads.
  • NID, __gads, __gpi - Google ad-delivery and frequency-capping cookies.
  • DSID, FPLC - Cross-device identifier cookies used when Google links your activity across devices.
  • CONSENT - Stores your consent state for ad personalisation (where applicable).

Personalised vs non-personalised ads. By default, Google AdSense may serve personalised ads based on your browsing activity, prior search queries, and inferred interests. You can switch to non-personalised ads at any time via Google's Ad Settings (you will still see ads, but they will not be tailored to your profile). Non-personalised ads are delivered using contextual information only (page topic, language, time of day) and are not linked to your identity across sites.

EU / UK / Swiss users (GDPR / UK GDPR). AdSense serves a consent banner under Google's Funding Choices platform when visitors arrive from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. The banner lets you accept all, reject all, or manage granular consent before any personalised advertising cookies are loaded. TwitFlow does not see or store the choice you make - it is held by Google.

California users (CCPA / CPRA). Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Google offers a single global opt-out at adssettings.google.com that functions as a CCPA opt-out signal. You may also request access to or deletion of the data Google holds about your ad interactions through Google's Data & Personalisation page..

Children's privacy (COPPA). TwitFlow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly serve AdSense ads to users we know to be under 13. Sites and apps using AdSense must comply with Google's AdSense policies for families and children..

Data deletion

All draft data is stored locally in your browser. You can delete it at any time using the Clear All button inside TwitFlow, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since we collect no personal data, changes are unlikely to affect you.
