Product & Features

What is TwitFlow?

TwitFlow is a free AI-powered tweet generator that helps you write better tweets faster. You input a topic, choose a mode (Write, Thread, Quote, or Reply), and TwitFlow generates 5 ready-to-post drafts in 30 seconds. Each draft comes with an engagement score (1–10) and reasoning to help you pick the best one.

What's the difference between Write, Thread, Quote, and Reply modes?

Write mode generates 5 standalone tweet variations on your topic.
Thread mode creates a 5-tweet thread with structured narrative flow.
Quote mode generates quote tweet commentary for an existing tweet you're replying to.
Reply mode creates reply tweets that continue or respond to a conversation.

Do I need to sign up or create an account?

No. TwitFlow works completely in your browser without requiring sign-up, login, or personal information. Your drafts are stored locally on your device using IndexedDB.

How does the Queue feature work?

The Queue lets you organize drafts in the order you plan to post them. After generating drafts, click "Add to Queue" to save a draft. Go to the Queue tab to reorder drafts by dragging, set reminders for posting times, and copy tweets when you're ready. It's like a personal content calendar that lives in your browser.

What are Reminders and how do they work?

Reminders help you remember to post queued drafts at specific times. Click the clock icon on any draft, set a date/time, and the draft will be marked with a visual reminder badge. When the time arrives, the badge changes to "Reminder due" to alert you. Reminders are stored locally in your browser.

Can TwitFlow post tweets directly to my X/Twitter account?

No. TwitFlow is a writing tool, not a scheduling tool. It generates and organizes drafts, but you copy and manually post them to X/Twitter. This keeps your account secure and gives you full control over what gets posted.

How many drafts can I generate per day?

Free users can generate up to 10 times per day (each generation creates 5 draft variations). Pro users get 50 generations per day (5X free limit). The counter resets at midnight in your timezone.

Data Privacy & Security

Where are my drafts stored?

All drafts are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. They never leave your device unless you manually copy and post them. TwitFlow does not have a backend database or cloud storage.

Does TwitFlow collect my data?

TwitFlow collects minimal anonymous analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. We do NOT collect, store, or sell your tweet content, drafts, or personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I export or back up my drafts?

Currently, drafts are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. If you clear browser data, drafts will be deleted. We recommend copying important drafts to a note-taking app or Google Doc as a backup. Export functionality is planned for a future update.

Does TwitFlow access my X/Twitter account?

No. TwitFlow does not connect to, access, or interact with your X/Twitter account in any way. You manually copy drafts and post them yourself.

AI & Content Quality

Which AI model does TwitFlow use?

TwitFlow uses advanced AI language models optimized for X/Twitter's format, tone, and engagement patterns. The system automatically selects the best available model to generate high-quality tweet drafts.

Why do I get 5 drafts instead of just 1?

Because there's no single "best" way to tweet about a topic. TwitFlow generates 5 different angles—some data-driven, some story-based, some contrarian—so you can pick the one that matches your voice and audience. The engagement scores help you choose.

How accurate are the engagement scores (1–10)?

Engagement scores are AI predictions based on X/Twitter best practices (clarity, hook strength, format, curiosity, etc.). They're useful for comparing drafts, but not guarantees. Your actual engagement depends on your audience, timing, and niche.

Can I regenerate if I don't like the drafts?

Yes. Click "Regenerate" to get 5 new drafts on the same topic. Each regeneration counts toward your daily limit (10 for free users, 50 for Pro users).

Does TwitFlow plagiarize or copy existing tweets?

No. TwitFlow generates original content using AI. It does not scrape, copy, or paraphrase existing tweets. All drafts are created from scratch based on your input.

Can I edit the generated drafts?

Absolutely. The drafts are starting points. You should edit them to add your voice, specific examples, or adjust tone. Think of TwitFlow as a writing partner, not a replacement for your creativity.

Usage Tips & Best Practices

What makes a good input topic?

Good inputs are specific and context-rich. Instead of "marketing," try "why most SaaS companies waste money on Facebook ads." The more specific your input, the better the AI's output. See our What to Tweet About guide for examples.

When should I use Thread mode vs. Write mode?

Use Write mode for standalone tweets that need a strong hook and fit in 280 characters. Use Thread mode when you have a multi-step idea, story, or framework that needs 3–5 tweets to explain fully.

How do I maximize engagement with generated tweets?

1. Pick the draft with the highest engagement score.
2. Edit it to match your voice and add specifics.
3. Post at optimal times (see Best Time to Post).
4. Engage with replies quickly to boost algorithmic reach.
5. Track which styles/angles work best for your audience and iterate.

Can I use TwitFlow for other platforms like LinkedIn or Instagram?

TwitFlow is optimized for X/Twitter's format and tone, but the drafts can be adapted for other platforms. LinkedIn posts typically need a more formal tone and longer format. Instagram captions need more visual context. You'll need to edit significantly.

What if the AI generates something inappropriate or inaccurate?

While rare, AI can occasionally produce off-target content. Always review drafts before posting. If you see inappropriate content, don't post it, and report it to us at hello@twitflow.app so we can improve the system.

Technical & Troubleshooting

Which browsers are supported?

TwitFlow works on all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Brave. Make sure you're using the latest version for the best experience.

Why aren't my drafts showing up?

Check that you haven't cleared your browser's storage (cookies/cache). Drafts are stored in IndexedDB, which is tied to your browser profile. If you use incognito/private mode, drafts will be deleted when you close the window.

The generation is taking too long. What should I do?

Generations typically take 3–10 seconds. If it's stuck for >30 seconds, refresh the page and try again. Check your internet connection. If the issue persists, contact support at hello@twitflow.app.

Can I use TwitFlow offline?

No. TwitFlow requires an internet connection to generate drafts (API calls to OpenAI). However, you can browse and manage already-generated drafts offline.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

• Description of the bug
• Steps to reproduce it
